Schedule and Communication Issues
Several customers experienced difficulties with scheduling and communication. Faye Adlawan mentioned that the job was delayed by a month, and it took several calls to get in touch with the scheduling coordinator, Ruth Buencamino. Gagandeep Singh had issues with customer service, stating that it took a long time to get through to someone, and that they only contacted customers from the Philippines.
Quality of Work and Customer Service
Gagandeep Singh also mentioned that the subcontractors left him with incomplete work, including electrical plate installation, sink faucet installation, and cabinet packaging. He also accused the company of overcharging him for an additional $2800 for extra cabinets and not installing a lazy Susan mechanism.
On the other hand, most customers had positive experiences with the quality of work and customer service. Mb G and Denise Hodgden praised the workers, stating that they did amazing and beautiful work. Christine Fagan, Kittie Suengkasem, and Bryan Idol mentioned that the staff and customer service team were excellent, helpful, and demonstrated professionalism.
Meeting Expectations
Author A. R. mentioned that the representative who came out, Carolyn, was great and thorough, but felt misled by the person who set up the appointment, Brett. Denise Hodgden expressed surprise and delight with her kitchen renovation, stating that Payless worked seamlessly with her contractor.
Overall Experience
Gagandeep Singh explicitly warned others not to use Payless Kitchen and Bath, stating that they would have to go through the same hassle he did. On the other hand, most customers had a positive experience, praising the staff, quality of work, and customer service.
