Our Story

Our journey began in 2009 when we founded Bumi Design with the goal of creating unique and functional spaces. Our design philosophy is rooted in the Indonesian concept of "Bumi, " meaning native or of the earth. We believe that a home is not just a physical structure, but a reflection of the people who live there. Our team consists of highly skilled and experienced professionals who share our passion for creating spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Our Services

At Bumi Design, we offer a wide range of services, from kitchen and bathroom remodels to additions, bathrooms, and kitchens. We specialize in residential design for projects ranging in scale from 200 to 3,000 square feet. Our team has extensive experience in designing and constructing a variety of projects, from small kitchen remodels to large-scale additions.

Our Process

Our design process begins with a thorough consultation with our clients to understand their needs and preferences. We believe in collaboration and work closely with our clients to ensure that their design goals are met. Our team of experts will guide you through the entire design and construction process, from conceptualization to completion.

Our Qualifications

Our team leader, Alicia Meza, is a graduate of the University of Washington's Architecture school and has a wealth of experience in residential design. We have a strong working relationship with the Seattle building department and are proud to be on the preferred applicant list as a CPA (Consistently Prepared Applicant). Our team has designed and constructed over 40 projects since our inception in 2009.
