Meet Our Founders - Ed & Louise Field

Ed and Louise Field are the founders of Blackwood Construction Group. They are originally from South Africa and immigrated to the US in 2001. They are naturalized US citizens and have lived all across the US, purchasing and remodeling homes along the way, doing a lot of the work themselves. Their remodeling experience grew when Louise started flipping homes full-time, managing the trades and subcontractors. Of all her remodeling skills, Louise is most proud of her tile work. Ed is a great mudder and taper. They both admit they are a little OCD and not the fastest out there so they now leave that work to their talented team. Louise is a licensed Class A General Contractor. Ed's experience in different divisions in the automotive industry has equipped him well to take care of the operations side of the business.
