At Living Space Designs, we are a full-service and ROC-licensed design and remodeling business focused on kitchens, baths, and interior living spaces in Tucson, Arizona. Our Team
At the helm of Living Space Designs is Managing Partner Helen Burch, who has over 25 years of experience in creating amazing spaces. With degrees in Sociology and Interior Design, and national certifications from NARI and NCIDQ, Helen has a deep understanding of design aesthetics and human nature. She is passionate about building trust and open dialogue with her clients, creating functional and beautiful spaces that enhance their lifestyle and personal taste.
Joining Helen is Office Manager Carolyn Roberson, who has over 20 years of experience working as a bookkeeper in multiple industries. With a passion for design, Carolyn is utilizing her skills as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper at Living Space Designs.
Rounding out our team is Kitchen & Bath Designer Amy Vargas, who has been designing beautiful kitchens and baths in Southern Arizona since 2007. With a background in organizational skills and attention to detail, Amy is expert at listening to clients' needs and offering creative solutions to create their dream kitchen or bath.
Our Process
At Living Space Designs, we believe in transparency and pride ourselves on "no budget surprises." Our five-step process ensures that our clients are informed and comfortable every step of the way. From the initial design consultation to the final walkthrough, we work closely with our clients to ensure that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
Step 1: Design Development
In this step, we create a comprehensive design to meet our clients' needs of functionality and aesthetics after measuring their space. Typically, there will be two to six design meetings before the design is finalized.
Step 2: Selection
As the design process is being finalized, we work with our clients to select cabinets, tiles, plumbing, lighting, flooring, paint, and countertops to ensure we are respecting their budget and are on track with the design.
Step 3: Construction Agreement
We create a construction agreement with our licensed contractor and detail all the remodel costs, so our clients understand where every dollar is going. We believe in transparency and pride ourselves on "no budget surprises."
Step 4: Construction
In this step, our contractor takes over, and the construction phase begins. During this time, our contractor will communicate regularly with our clients to keep them informed of the progress.
Step 5: Final Walkthrough
Once the remodel is complete, we schedule a comprehensive walkthrough with our clients to ensure everything is done according to their expectations. Our contractor will also follow up with our clients after one month and again after one year for any repairs or touch-ups that may be needed.
